A Guide to Buying BaubleBar

Ok. I have an obsession, and it’s with an accessories company called BaubleBar.

No seriously, I love, love, love BaubleBar.

I love them so much, I even wore Baublebar earrings for our wedding.

I’ve never been much of a jewelry fan. I occasionally threw on some cheap Forever 21 or Aldo accessories, here and there when I was going out in college. But, I’ve never consistently worn jewelry. I’ve also always had “simple” taste, sticking with gold/silver accessories that had no other colors to them.

Until I found BaubleBar.

I found BaubleBar through Nordstrom. I was searching and searching all over the internet, including Etsy. I just couldn’t find the right earrings that spruced up my wedding day look, since I didn’t plan on wearing a necklace with my wedding dress. I wanted something bright and shiny that stood out. I didn’t want to spend too much money or buy anything that I wouldn’t wear again, though. I saw a pair of really chic crystal earrings by BaubleBar on Nordstrom.com, so I headed to the BaubleBar site to see what else the brand offered. I took a leap of faith and bought the Eirini Drops (See above photo). These ended up being the first earrings I bought, but definitely not the last. I truly became brand loyal.

I’ll be honest- I’m hooked.

I started branching out of my comfort zone by buying colored earrings. I ended up purchasing these Piñata tassel earrings from Nordstrom, and wore them with multiple outfits-they were so versatile. They could be worn with dressy attire or could be worn as a casual look.

The best part:

At one of my Target trips, low and behold, they carried BaubleBar! They joined together creating “SUGARFIX by BaubleBar”, and the best part is the Piñata earrings are apart of the lineup! Target carries 7 different colors, as well as these Tassel Drop Earrings (and these very similar styles earrings that come in a two-pack!).

I ended up buying the Black , White , and Blush

And, guess what- all three stores have the exact same quality of BaubleBar!

Now, in case you are wondering where you should purchase BaubleBar from, I’ve given a short breakdown of the perks each store offers.

BaubleBar:

If you purchase through the BaubleBar site, they offer a free rewards program. For every $1 you spend, you receive 1 point. For every 100 points, you get a $10 reward. They also have the typical holiday sales, and offer free shipping over $25. They currently have up to 70% off styles-including the piñata tassels!

Nordstrom:

Nordstrom also has a rewards program, but unfortunately, you have to spend a little more money to get a reward. For every $1 you spend, you get 1 point. Once you’ve received 2,000 points, then you get a $20 “note” (reward). There are “bonus points events”, which gives you specific days to get extra points. However, if you’re a Nordstrom Cardholder, you can get six points for every $1 you spend during triple points days.

Target:

As most know, Target offers a credit card, debit card, and has the Cartwheel app, which offers coupons and deals.

But, now through Valentine’s Day, Target is offering 20% off of all SUGARFIX by BaubleBar accessories. BaubleBar is already inexpensive, but SugarFix costs about half the price.
